CPUT welcomes new Research Chair

CPUT has appointed Prof Thomas Thurner as the new Research Chair for Innovation in Society. 

From utilising the human body to generate energy to conducting self-testing for diseases such as cancer, researchers at CPUT are set to change the way we live.

Dr Agnes Chigona, an academic in the Faculty of Education, says her recently awarded C2 Rating by the National Research Foundation recognizes her research work which impacts on the country and beyond its borders.
