Taking research forward

As we welcome new and returning students to CPUT we also celebrate our 2018 research highlights and look forward to making 2019 a year of discovery and innovation. 

CPUT lecturers and students discussed the latest trends in teaching at the 6th Annual Research and Innovation into Teaching and Learning (RITAL) Conference recently held by Fundani’s Academic Staff Development on the Bellville Campus.

Graduating with distinction

Four MEng Electrical Engineering graduates working in the Centre for Substation Automation and Energy Management Systems (CSAEMS) will graduate summa cum laude tonight.

The Centre for Distributed Power and Electronic Systems is very proud of their two doctoral and five master’s graduands who will be among the last students capped at this year’s Summer Graduation.

Students from various faculties presented their research at the recent Postgraduate Conference.

The Western Cape may have experienced a heat wave in October, but CPUT’s Bellville campus underwent a cold spell.
