Student chapter launched

CPUT’s commitment to produce work-ready graduates has seen academic departments building strong ties with industry.

Through technology transfer and the diffusion of innovative technologies, the Metals Technology Laboratory (METL) will facilitate strategic projects that will contribute towards the growth of a sustainable South African and more closely the Western Cape foundry industry.

CPUT’s nano-satellite research has caught the attention of the Bavarian government and a recent symposium explored ways of leveraging this interest.

A training centre designed to equip underprivileged people with the skills essential to the energy industry has been launched on the Bellville Campus.

CPUT is extending its global network of partners, thanks to the Erasmus+ International Credit Mobility programme.

A partnership between CPUT, industry partners and global software company SAP Africa is set to provide critical training in scarce ICT skills.
