CPUT is working on establishing a Centre on Sustainable Heritage in partnership with the South African Heritage Resources Agency (SAHRA), where research and consultancy will be performed to develop various guidelines to protect and restore heritage sites and structures.

Warm welcome for French diplomats

Vice-Chancellor, Prof Chris Nhlapo, Deputy Vice-Chancellor: Research, Technology, Innovation and Partnerships, Dr David Phaho and Prof Judy Peter, Strategic Initiatives and Partnerships (SIP) unit Director, recently hosted the French Embassy Delegation, Dr Paul Cavalier and Bertille Daran.

A case study on the Collaborative Online International Learning (COIL) project at CPUT has been selected for publication in a respected guide.

The fact that CPUT alumna and celebrity chef, Siba Mtongana, opened her restaurant during Covid-19 gives students hope and encourages them to work hard, and to remember “that anything is possible”.

A collaboration between the Journalism Programme and the Independent Electoral Commission (IEC)’s Western Cape office will be aimed at fostering and researching youth participation in the 2021 local government elections in the province.
