Where do you call home?

Home to more than 30 000 students, CPUT is the largest university of technology in the region and has several campuses and satellite sites, stretching from the Cape Town city centre to as far as George in the Southern Cape.

CPUT plays a leading role in developing handball in the Western Cape and this July had the opportunity to host the University Sports South Africa Handball Tournament.

In an attempt to fast track nation-building, Father Smangaliso Mkhatshwa, national Chairman of the Moral Regeneration Movement (MRM), urged universities to launch their own chapters of the movement.

The Student Representative Council (SRC) represents the more than 33 000 students enrolled at CPUT in all of the university’s various decision-making bodies and committees.
