CPUT boxer in trials for 2020 Olympics

A first-year Civil Engineering student will be taking part in the boxing trials which will be held in Dundee later this week.

The CPUT men’s rugby team has won the B division of the University Sports South Africa tournament held recently at Wits University, Johannesburg. 

Business and Information Administration third-year student, Siboniso Soldaka, has made the national Athletics South Africa (ASA) team which will take part at the 2018 African Championship in August in Nigeria.

A postgraduate student, who is also an avid sports personality, has invented a new sports code which has a potential to permeate throughout Southern Africa.
