German delegation visits SARETEC

A delegation of scientists from various institutions in Germany recently visited the South African Renewable Energy Technology Centre (SARETEC) on the Bellville campus on the eve of its opening.

The Faculty of Business and Management Sciences recently hosted a delegation from Anhalt University of Applied Sciences in Germany and agreed to exchange students and staff.

The CPUT signed an exchange agreement with the Hochschule Neu-Ulm University of Applied Sciences in Germany. The agreement is to develop active cooperation in various areas between the two universities.

CPUT students are set to embark on a waste upcycling and renewable energy project that will benefit the student community.

In consideration of the promotion of international educational co-operation and educational exchanges, the CPUT’s School of Sport, Events, Tourism and Hospitality (SETH) have signed a Memorandum of Understanding with the Ferrandi French School of Culinary Arts.

Umalusi, the national accreditation body on schooling, recently partnered with CPUT to launch their national research reports on curriculum issues.
