As part of an European Union Edulink consortium Programme on Energy Efficiency in Southern Africa (PEESA) that includes African and German partners, CPUT has introduced a new Masters degree.

The Media Information and Communication Technologies Sector Education and Training Authority (MICT SETA) is throwing its weight behind an exciting Information Technology (IT) courseware development project in a bid to bolster this critical industry.

With less than two weeks to go until the start of the world’s toughest mountain bike race, the four riders who will sport CPUT colours in the Absa Cape Epic say they are all raring to go.

Staff from the fundraising arm of CPUT are delighted to have not just met, but exceeded their fundraising targets for 2015.

Message from the Alumni Association

Fellow alumni,

2015 has been a significant year for our university, with many highlights and milestones achieved.

Exams have now ended for the 375 learners who participated in CPUT’s Centre for Co-operative Education 2nd Chance Matric Rewrite Project. A partnership aiming to help matriculants who opt for a second chance to write matric exams, the project is jointly funded by the National Youth Development Agency (NYDA) and the Education Training and Development Practises SETA. CPUT recently received generous donations from the Hospital Welfare and Muslim Education Movement (HWMEM), whose long-term support of CPUT continues to grow year-on-year.
