Second time success

The Second Chance Programme at CPUT has once again helped scores of young people to improve their matric marks.

Two academics have completed the Teaching Advancement at Universities (TAU) Programme and have started sharing their newly-acquired skills with their colleagues to enhance teaching excellence at CPUT.

Students learn about national library

In a move to assist students with their academic development, the Faculty of Business and Management Sciences recently took its Extended Curriculum Programme students on a guided tour of the National Library of South Africa.

A recent study conducted by CPUT researcher Sjirk Geerts, together with researchers from the C·I·B, SANBI’s Invasive Species Programme and the University of Cape Town, highlighted the role humans play in the spread of plant invaders.

CPUT made history today when it awarded its first honorary doctorate in the field of Environmental Health.

Radiography training at CPUT has been given another major boost thanks to the recent acquisition of a R4 million Virtual Environment for Radiotherapy Training (VERT) system.
