During the department’s recent advisory committee meeting on the Granger Bay Campus attended by academics, industry employers and the CPUT SABPP HR Student Chapter, they were praised for their sterling work done to retain the accreditation.

The CPUT Student Chapter, the only one in the Western Cape, presented their plan for the year which aims to organise activities that will increase the awareness of the chapter as well as professionalise students.

The department reported that 2017 saw a hike in the number of Work Integrated Learning (WIL)  placements.
