Agriculture is an applied science involved in many fields in the food and fibre industry. The aim of the course is to train managers for the agricultural industry. The course equips the student with the skills and techniques necessary for the analysis of agricultural production systems and the solving of agricultural management, technical and related problems in a variety of industries.

Career Opportunities
Graduates follow career paths in organised agriculture, including agricultural corporations, agricultural development institutions, the Department of Agriculture, agricultural input suppliers, and farming estates.
